We are seeking an experienced Data Management Maturity & Governance Lead to lead data governance and data management maturity initiatives across the organization. The role will focus on data management maturity assessments governance frameworks policies standards controls gap assessments remediation evidence management and compliance readiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise data governance and the ability to translate data management requirements into practical policies processes controls and implementation plans.

• Lead and coordinate data management maturity and governance initiatives.
• Assess existing data management capabilities against defined maturity requirements and assessment criteria.
• Conduct data management maturity and gap assessments and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop review and maintain data management policies standards procedures frameworks and guidelines.
• Define and implement data governance controls processes roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to implement required data management and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain remediation plans for identified governance and maturity gaps.
• Track remediation actions ownership timelines dependencies and closure status.
• Define collect validate organize and maintain evidence and supporting documentation for maturity and governance requirements.
• Ensure policies procedures controls and supporting evidence are aligned with applicable assessment requirements.
• Establish and maintain structured repositories for governance documentation approvals evidence and implementation records.
• Support audits internal reviews maturity assessments compliance reviews and governance assessments.
• Prepare management reports covering maturity progress gaps risks remediation activities and compliance readiness.
• Facilitate governance workshops and stakeholder sessions to drive adoption of data management practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve data governance capabilities processes and organizational maturity.
• Provide guidance to business and technical teams on data governance requirements and implementation.

• 812 years of professional experience in Data Governance Data Management Data Quality Data Strategy or a related field.
• Strong experience in enterprise data governance and data management maturity programs.
• Hands-on experience conducting data maturity assessments and gap assessments.
• Strong experience developing and implementing data policies standards procedures guidelines and governance controls.
• Experience managing data governance remediation plans and maturity improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data governance data quality metadata data ownership data stewardship data lineage and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with evidence management audit preparation compliance documentation and assessment readiness.
• Strong stakeholder management experience across business data and technology teams.
• Excellent documentation presentation reporting and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid international and client-facing environment.

• Experience with recognized Data Management Maturity Models or Assessment Frameworks.
• Experience with DAMA-DMBOK or similar data management frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview or other enterprise data governance platforms.
• Experience in data governance transformation or enterprise-wide governance programs.
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CDMP data governance data management or related certifications.
