Business Development Manager
Job Summary
- Manage and grow the assigned customer portfolio by identifying new business opportunities expanding wallet share and strengthening long-term customer relationships
- Develop a thorough understanding of Maersks integrated logistics solutions with a particular focus on Depot and Customs offerings to effectively position value added solutions for customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers prospects and industry stakeholders to identify commercial opportunities and drive sustainable business growth
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and execute commercial strategies that achieve monthly revenue volume and profitability (P&L) targets for the Depot and Customs portfolio
- Partner with Sales teams to identify qualify and convert new business opportunities while providing solution expertise for bonded and non-bonded depot services
- Work closely with Product Sales Customer Experience Operations Finance and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding service delivery and successful execution of customer solutions
- Monitor business performance by tracking revenue margins cargo volumes yield and operational costs taking proactive actions to optimize commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with Depot and Customs operations to identify service enhancement opportunities improve operational efficiency and support business expansion initiatives
- Monitor market trends customer requirements and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and recommend strategies that strengthen Maersks market position
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline business forecasts and commercial reports while ensuring timely updates through relevant business systems and CRM tools
- Drive a culture of collaboration customer centricity and continuous improvement by working effectively across internal teams to achieve shared business objectives.
