Backend Software Engineer Python & Django

Devsinc is looking to hire a skilled Software Engineer - 1to help deliver scalable secure and enterprise-grade software solutions.In this role you will design develop deploy and maintainhigh-performance backend applicationsandcloud-native servicesusing modern Python technologies.

The ideal candidate has at least of 2 years of professional experience after graduationin Python backend development with strong expertise inDjangoandDjango REST Framework (DRF) along with hands-on experience inAWScloud deployments containerization and modern backend architectural principles.

Responsibilities

• Design develop test and maintain production-grade backend applications usingPythonandDjango/Django REST Framework (DRF) FastAPI or Flask.
• Build secure scalable and high-performanceRESTful APIsmicroservices anddistributed backend services.
• Contribute to backend system design including service boundariesdatabase selection cachingasynchronous processing andAPI architecture.
• Deploy and manage applications onAWSusing services such asEC2 ECS/EKS Lambda S3 RDS IAM and CloudWatch.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications and automated deployment pipelines usingDocker and CI/CD tools.
• Design and optimizerelationalandNoSQL databases queries caching strategies and data-access layers.
• Implement background processing and event-driven workflows usingCelery Redis RabbitMQ Kafka or similar technologies.
• Monitor application performance troubleshoot production issues and improvesystem availability reliability and scalability.
• Write clean testable and maintainable code participate incode reviews and maintain technical documentation.

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduation professional experiencein Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency inPython with extensive hands-on experience inDjangoandDjango REST Framework (DRF). Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask is an added advantage.
• Proven experience developing deploying and maintainingproduction-grade backend applicationsandRESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding ofbackend architecturemicroservicesAPI designsoftware design patternsscalability andsecure application development.
• Strong experience withrelational and NoSQL databases includingPostgreSQL MySQL Redis and MongoDB with expertise indatabase schema design query optimization caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience withAWS(EC2 S3 RDS IAM Lambda or similar services) includingcloud-based application deployments.
• Experience withDocker containerized deployments andCI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Jenkins or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience implementingasynchronous processingusingCelery RabbitMQ or similar technologies integratingthird-party APIs and services and developing secureauthentication and authorizationsolutions usingJWT OAuth2 andRole-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience writing automated tests usingPyTestUnittest or similar testing frameworks.
• Stronganalytical debugging problem-solving and communication skills with the ability tomonitor troubleshoot and optimize production applicationsin cloud environments.
