Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and technically motivated Assistant Operator to support the main operator in running and maintaining a KBA offset printing machine efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the KBA Machine Operator in machine setup and operation.
- Support in loading paper inks plates blankets and other printing materials.
- Monitor paper feeding ink/water balance registration and print quality.
- Assist with cleaning and routine maintenance of the printing machine.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities printing defects and breakdowns.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards around the machine.
- Follow production schedules quality standards and company safety procedures.
- Assist in achieving daily production targets with minimum wastage.
Requirements
- Education: Matric / Intermediate preferred.
- Experience: 34 years of experience in offset printing; experience with KBA machines.
- Basic understanding of offset printing processes.
