We are looking for a Mechanical or Structural Engineer to strengthen our team within engineering and product development.

What will you be doing in this role
As a Mechanical Engineer you will work with the design and development of mechanical structures and equipment within our product portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and development of machines and mechanical equipment
- 3D modelling and preparation of 2D drawings
- Design and development of steel structures including derricks and masts
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structures and equipment
- Stress analysis of piping systems
- Development of technical solutions within our product portfolio
- Preparation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Preparation of technical documentation and analysis reports including documentation for class approval
Who are we looking for
We are looking for you who have a solid technical understanding of mechanical and/or structural engineering and who enjoys working with design analysis and problemsolving. You have interest in finding practical and robust technical solutions and have knowledge and interest in both mechanical and structural engineering.
We believe that your educational background lies with either mechanical or structural engineering.
We also think it is advantageous that you hold the following qualifications:
- Experience with 3D design tools (experience with Creo / ProENGINEER is an advantage)
- Experience preparing 2D drawings (experience with AutoCAD is an advantage)
- Familiarity with offshore design rules and standards such as DNV and Eurocode
- Ability to perform or contribute to structural FEA or piping stress analyses
- Strong working proficiency in both spoken and written English
