Job Summary

Role Title: Team Lead Information Technology
Reports To: Executive Management / Designated Director
Location: Lagos
Supervises: IT Officers Application Support Infrastructure Engineers and Vendor Resources

Role Summary
The Team Lead Information Technology will provide leadership coordination and operational oversight for the IT Department across all business locations experience centres and digital platforms. The role serves as the acting operational head of IT pending the appointment of a substantive Head of IT and is responsible for ensuring that technology supports business growth regulatory compliance service delivery excellence infrastructure stability and digital transformation across the organisation.
The role combines technical leadership infrastructure management governance oversight business analysis cybersecurity coordination systems
integration and IT service delivery. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to business units by positioning IT as an enabler of efficiency innovation and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Leadership and Department Oversight
Provide operational leadership and supervision for the entire IT function
Coordinate daily IT operations infrastructure support services and application management
Establish performance standards KPIs and service delivery benchmarks for IT staff
Oversee vendor relationships service level agreements and outsourcing partners
Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness across all locations
Provide regular management reports on IT performance risks and opportunities

2. Enterprise IT Infrastructure Management
The Team Lead will have full responsibility for managing and maintaining technology infrastructure across all offices experience centres and digital
platforms.
Physical Infrastructure
Oversee network infrastructure across all locations including LAN WAN internet connectivity and inter branch connectivity
Manage data centre and server room environments including power cooling redundancy and environmental monitoring
Ensure availability and maintenance of end user computing devices printers network devices and communication tools
Coordinate installation maintenance and lifecycle management of hardware assets across all offices and experience centres
Ensure secure and resilient connectivity between branch locations customer engagement centres and digital channels

Cloud and Virtual Infrastructure
Manage cloud infrastructure environments where not directly handled by the vendor including hosting platforms virtual servers and storage solutions
Oversee cloud architecture design optimisation and cost management
Ensure high availability scalability and redundancy of cloud based systems
Implement and monitor backup replication and disaster recovery solutions across cloud and hybrid environments
Manage cloud security controls including identity management encryption and access governance
3. IT Governance and Policy Development
Develop review and implement IT policies procedures and standards aligned with regulatory requirements and global best practices
Support implementation of IT governance frameworks including risk management compliance and audit readiness
Maintain IT documentation including architecture asset registers process manuals and operational workflows
Coordinate internal and external IT audits regulatory inspections and compliance reporting
Support enforcement of data governance privacy and information security standards

4. IT as a Business Service Enabler
Partner with business units to identify technology solutions that improve efficiency productivity and customer experience
Conduct business requirements analysis and translate business needs into technology solutions
Drive automation and digitisation initiatives across operational processes
Champion technology innovation initiatives that support revenue generation and cost optimisation
Provide advisory support for product development customer platforms and digital channels

5. Application Management and Core Systems Oversight
Oversee administration integration and optimisation of core enterprise
applications including:
BankOne
Infoware
Symplus
Office 365
Zoho
Ensure system availability performance optimisation and data integrity
Coordinate system upgrades patches and vendor support engagements
Lead integration of core systems with fintech platforms digital onboarding tools and third party solutions
Support data analytics reporting tools and management dashboards

6. Cybersecurity and Risk Management
Coordinate implementation of cybersecurity controls and monitoring mechanisms
Oversee vulnerability management penetration testing and remediation activities
Monitor access controls identity management and privileged account governance
Support incident response breach management and forensic investigations
Ensure compliance with regulatory cybersecurity guidelines and industry standards
Implement infrastructure security controls across physical network and cloud environments

7. Digital Transformation and Fintech Integration
Lead digitisation initiatives to close technology gaps across the organisation
Support implementation of fintech partnerships APIs and open banking integrations
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
Support development and deployment of digital platforms and customer engagement tools
Coordinate integration of technology into investment finance leasing and asset management operations

8. IT Strategy Support
Provide input into development and execution of enterprise IT strategy
Assist in technology road mapping infrastructure planning and digital transformation programmes
Support budgeting cost optimisation and technology investment planning
Provide research and insight on emerging technology trends relevant to the financial services sector
