Job Summary

Our client is an African fashion and lifestyle company building products experiences and communities around African identity culture and contemporary expression. The client enters its next stage of growth the company is strengthening its commercial e-commerce operational people-development customer-experience and creative capabilities.


This role will grow clients revenue through physical stores stockists distributors pop-ups and other offline commercial opportunities. The coordinator will oversee sales performance across clients physical locations and actively build new channels for expansion within Nigeria across Africa and internationally.


Key responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and sales performance across all client physical stores.
  • Manage support and hold store sales teams accountable for agreed targets.
  • Identify opportunities for new stores concessions stockists distributors and retail partnerships.
  • Develop and convert relationships with physical retailers and commercial partners.
  • Identify negotiate and execute local and international pop-up opportunities.
  • Build distribution opportunities within Nigeria across Africa and globally.
  • Visit client stores to monitor sales execution customer experience and merchandising standards.
  • Prepare sales plans forecasts opportunity pipelines and regular performance reports.
  • Travel to stores outside Lagos and internationally for meetings activations and commercial opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Online Sales Manager to drive company-wide sales.


Ideal candidate profile

  • Mid-level commercial retail sales or business-development professional.
  • Demonstrable experience in retail sales distribution expansion or channel development.
  • Strong negotiation relationship-management and opportunity-conversion skills.
  • Experience managing salespeople retail teams or multiple locations.
  • Willing and able to travel frequently when required.
  • Commercially driven proactive accountable and comfortable with ambitious targets.
  • Leadership potential to grow into a future Head of Sales role.
