Private Wealth Officer

• Account for contributions received withdrawal requests from portfolio clients corporate actions on investments withdrawal payments to portfolio clients and daily valuation reports of all private portfolios in an accurate and timely promptly.
• Undertake monthly asset reconciliation of private portfolios against third party confirmation such as CSCS Bonds statement and Custodians portfolio valuation reports and ensure prompt resolution of reconciliation variances.
• Ensure daily bank reconciliation is caried out for all private portfolios and ensure that all transactions are promptly and accurately recognised before the valuation process is undertaken.
• Respond to queries and clarifications from relationship managers on client complaints and requests ensuring that resolutions are swift satisfactory and quality service is delivered.
• Ensure compliance with instituted controls within the team ensuring daily call overs are provided to the team lead timely for review and reports are completed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure corporate actions are researched daily and applicable actions are recognised on the core investment application timely and accurately.
• Ensure standing orders are treated promptly and accurately making adequate provisions for portfolio liabilities.
• Ensure that all client reporting is carried out within agreed timelines with no room for errors

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Financial Expertise especially in accounting principles and reporting

• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Applications

Minimum Qualification

• ACA or ACCA is an added advantage
• Possession of a post graduate qualification (MBA or MSc) is an added advantage
• Possession of CFA CISI CIS is an added advantage

Minimum Experience

1-year post-university experience in the financial sector.
