Were creating a Pan-African digital-first media institution that will influence how Africa tells its stories celebrates its achievements and engages with the world.

As we prepare for our commercial launch in 2027 were assembling a founding team of exceptional storytellers who can inform inspire and connect with audiences across television streaming digital and social platforms.

Were looking for confident intelligent and naturally engaging Presenters who understand that credibility is earned authenticity matters and great storytelling can shape conversations across a continent.

About the Role

As a Presenter you will become one of the public faces of C54News.

Youll host live and recorded programmes conduct interviews moderate conversations present breaking news create digital-first content and represent the C54News brand across multiple platforms.

This is not a script-reading role.

Were looking for journalists communicators and storytellers who are curious commercially aware and passionate about Africas future.

Key Responsibilities

• Live Presentation & Broadcasting
• Present live and recorded news programmes with confidence clarity and professionalism.
• Deliver breaking news accurately while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Host interviews panel discussions special reports and feature programmes.
• Adapt presentation style across television streaming podcasts and digital formats.

Editorial & Storytelling

• Research stories and contribute editorial ideas.
• Collaborate with producers and editors to develop compelling programme content.
• Write or refine scripts where required.
• Ensure accuracy fairness and editorial integrity at all times.
• Audience Engagement
• Build meaningful relationships with audiences across digital and social platforms.
• Participate in audience conversations before during and after broadcasts.
• Create short-form digital content to support audience growth.
• Represent C54News professionally at public engagements and special events.

Brand Representation

• Serve as an ambassador for the C54News brand.
• Maintain exceptional professional standards both on and off camera.
• Support promotional campaigns strategic partnerships and corporate initiatives.
• Contribute to building C54News reputation as Africas trusted digital news platform.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Mass Communication Journalism Media Studies Communications or a related discipline.
• 2 - 5 years experience in broadcasting journalism digital media or content presentation.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Additional African languages are an advantage.
• Experience with digital-first content creation is highly desirable.
