Job Summary
Duties &Responsibilities
- Create and update AML / CFT policies and procedures and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a compliance rule-book monitor and track regulatory changes ensuring policy update and compliance.
- Maintain UPs internal policy repository.
- Liaise with team members and other departments to prepare and submit regulatory returns/reports within timelines.
- Provide guidance to business teams on regulatory changes.
- Receive and coordinate timely response to LEAs and regulatory agencies pertaining to the compliance programme of Unified Payments.
- Serves as programme officer for the compliance department responsible for all compliance related projects liaison and effective management of internal and external examinations and assessments.
- Compliance exception tracking to ensure remediation with timeline.
- Cross functional collaboration to ensure smooth interface and communication with agencies of government.
- Track and follow-up on pending requests from/to regulatory authorities and LEAs and ensure timely closure.
- Keep track of all Unified Payments licenses/regulatory approvals and ensure prompt action is taken for renewal.
- Any other task that may be assigned by the supervisor or the CCO.
JobRequirements
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Public Policy Law Risk Management or a related field.
- Professional certification in compliance such as DCP CAMS ICA CFE.
General:
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in of experience in policy regulatory affairs government relations or related fields.
