Job Summary

The OSP Manager is responsible for the planning deployment maintenance and optimization of outside plant telecommunications infrastructure including fiber optic and copper networks. The role ensures the network is built and maintained to quality safety cost and timeline standards while supporting service reliability and expansion objectives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan design and oversee construction of OSP infrastructure (fiber ducts poles cabinets).
  • Manage FTTH/FTTx backbone access and metro network rollout projects.
  • Coordinate surveys route planning and right-of-way acquisition.
  • Manage contractors vendors budgets timelines and BOQs.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of OSP assets.
  • Lead fault resolution and emergency restorations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety quality and telecom regulations.
  • Maintain accurate as-built drawings and GIS documentation.
  • Prepare performance KPI and project reports.
  • Field-based role with frequent site visits.
  • On-call support for network emergencies.
  • Travel within assigned region.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • 710 years telecom OSP experience; 35 years in management.
  • Strong knowledge of fiber deployment splicing and testing.
  • Experience with FTTH/FTTx projects.
  • Leadership communication and problem-solving skills
