Nursery School Teacher
Job Summary
The Nursery School Teacher is responsible for creating a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities that support childrens cognitive social emotional physical and language development while fostering a love for learning.
Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate lessons and learning activities in line with the schools curriculum.
Foster childrens intellectual emotional social and physical development through play-based and structured learning.
Encourage creativity curiosity and independent thinking in young learners.
Teach foundational literacy numeracy communication and social skills.
Create and maintain a safe positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Establish classroom routines and manage student behaviour using positive reinforcement techniques.
Ensure children are adequately supervised always.
Observe assess and monitor childrens progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and behaviour.
Identify learning or developmental challenges and communicate concerns appropriately.
Ensure the health safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies always.
Respond appropriately to accidents illnesses or emergencies involving children.
Build positive relationships with parents and guardians.
Provide regular feedback on childrens progress behaviour and development.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Prepare lesson plans learning materials and classroom resources.
Maintain classroom cleanliness organization and educational displays.
Attend staff meetings training sessions and professional development activities.
Bachelors Degree NCE or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education Education or a related field.
Previous experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood learning principles.

Required Skills:
