Job Summary
Founded in 2006 One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africas farmers we provide high-quality farm supplies tree seedlings accessible credit modern agronomic training and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent while permanently improving their resilience. The Nigeria program established in 2018 is headquartered in Minna Niger state. Were currently serving over 100000 unique farmers across the state via our inputs on credit Core program inputs on cash Retail program and have a free tree seedling distribution Agroforestry program. Seeking a dynamic Gender and Youth Associate with 5 years of experience to lead and implement inclusion strategies. They will drive impactful initiatives that integrate gender equity and youth empowerment into the core of our operations.
Research & impact assessment
- Conduct an internal analysis of baseline reach for youth & women through the program traditional channels.
- Deliver an impact assessment of baseline activities.
- Make recommendations to reach youth & women through both traditional and non-traditional channels.
- Determine the most effective way to track & monitor impact for youth & women.
Product strategy development & testing
- Determine which existing products/services are most attractive to youth & women.
- Identify alternative products/services not currently offered by the country program which (1) are in demand by youth & women (2) align with country strategy and (3) are available and fit within existing budget parameters.
- Create a product pipeline/mix that responds to youth-specific challenges and needs.
Marketing strategy
- Develop a marketing strategy designed to appeal to the youth population with a lens towards female audiences when appropriate and/or strategic.
- Execute the marketing strategy on time and keep owners accountable for delivering.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategy to reach the greatest number of youth & women.

Across all roles these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically you will have:
- Seeking an experienced professional with over 5 years of experience in youth & gender programs.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Sociology Business or related field.
- Background in youth & gender programming is strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint; Google Docs Sheets Slides.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
