Lawyer Hearing Case Manager
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular communication with clients (monthly or as required) to provide updates on case status and next steps.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally while maintaining confidentiality empathy and a high level of client care.
- Conduct detailed client interviews to gather verify and update medical personal and case-related information.
- Review medical records thoroughly to confirm accuracy treatment history and relevant timelines.
- Accurately document all client interactions updates and findings in a timely manner within the case management system.
- Escalate cases to attorneys or supervisors when necessary for further review or decision-making.
- Address client concerns questions and potential barriers (e.g. financial constraints or access to care) by providing appropriate solutions or escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with attorneys supervisors and team members to ensure case alignment and steady progression toward hearing readiness.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage clients empathetically.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record review.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in case management systems and basic computer applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Compulsory Requirements:
- Minimum of a Second Class Lower (2:2) Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B).
- Must have been called to the Bar.
- Availability to work on-site in Abuja (CBD) from 2:00 PM 11:00 PM WAT. A company-provided shuttle service is available for evening transportation to designated drop-off points.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in case management legal support or SSD-related roles.
- Familiarity with medical records review and hearing preparation processes.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
Pay: 200000.00 per month
