Job Summary

Location: Osun State (Project Site)

Key Responsibilities

Conduct accurate land boundary and topographic surveys for construction projects.

Interpret engineering and construction drawings and provide precise site measurements.

Establish control points benchmarks grades and elevations for project execution.

Utilize modern surveying equipment such as Total Stations GPS/GNSS systems and AutoCAD Civil 3D for data collection and analysis.

Prepare survey reports maps sketches and documentation in accordance with project requirements.

Work closely with engineers project managers and site teams to ensure construction activities align with approved designs and specifications.

Carry out as-built surveys and verify completed works for accuracy and compliance.

Monitor site progress and provide survey support throughout project execution.

Ensure proper maintenance calibration and safe handling of surveying equipment.

Adhere to company safety standards quality procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements

Minimum of 9 years of on-site surveying experience preferably within the construction industry.

Bachelors Degree or HND in Surveying Geomatics Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in the use of Total Stations GPS/GNSS equipment AutoCAD Civil 3D and other surveying software.

Strong understanding of construction methods engineering drawings and site layout procedures.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and within project timelines.

Professional registration or certification with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.

Required Skills:

. Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong focus on road construction. Registered with relevant engineering bodies (e.g. COREN NSE or equivalent international licensing). Deep knowledge of construction methods materials and regulatory standards in road infrastructure. Strong leadership team coordination and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and project documentation abilities. Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D MS Project). Willingness to travel and work across project sites in Nigeria.
