Job Summary
The IT Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation maintenance security and optimization of the banks IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and maintain computer hardware software printers and peripheral devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software network and application issues promptly.
- Provide first-level support for the banks Core Banking System.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Manage user accounts email configurations and access permissions.
- Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery testing.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 24 years of IT support experience preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Experience supporting banking applications and IT infrastructure
- Good understanding of CBN IT guidelines cybersecurity practices and regulatory compliance within the financial sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
