Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Fund & Portfolio Management:
Manage assigned investment portfolios and collective investment schemes.
Execute investment strategies aligned with fund mandates (Money Market Fixed Income and discretionary portfolios).
Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and risk targets.
Conduct periodic re-balancing of portfolios to optimize yield and liquidity.
Ensure strict adherence to investment policy statements (IPS) and regulatory guidelines
Fund Structuring Support:
Support the launch and management of new funds (e.g. Money Market Fund Fixed Income Fund).
Assist in defining fund strategies benchmarks and risk parameters.
Contribute to product development and investment structuring initiatives.
Trade Execution & Portfolio Operations:
Execute trades across money market instruments treasury bills bonds and other approved assets.
Liaise with brokers dealing members custodians and counterparties.
Ensure timely settlement of transactions and reconciliation of trades.
Maintain accurate trade logs and portfolio records.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant investment-related experience
- Demonstrated success within Asset Management Capital Markets Investment Management or Commercial Bank-Treasury.
- ICAN (ACA) ACCA CPA CFA or active progress toward any of these certifications.
