Investment Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Build and review financial models and valuation analyses across multiple sectors.
• Prepare transaction documentation including information memoranda prospectuses teasers pitch books and client presentations.
• Lead day-to-day transaction execution activities coordinating with internal teams clients regulators and other stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities on advisory and capital raising transactions and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Support deal origination and business development initiatives while developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor Analysts providing guidance on transaction execution and deliverables.
• Monitor market developments industry trends and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and mandates.

• First degree in a Finance Accounting or Economics related course
• Post Graduate Degree or MBA is an added advantage
• NYSC Completed
• Minimum of 4 - 5 years of Corporate Finance experience in a reputable Investment bank or top tier consulting firm
• Strong Financial Modelling skills
• SEC Sponsored Individual will be an added advantage
• Relevant professional qualifications (or ongoing certification program) such as ACA ACCA CFA will be an added advantage
