In partnership with our client we are seeking a Head Business Development to drive growth across two important service lines fertility care and HIFU treatments at a leading healthcare provider dedicated to transforming lives through world-class treatment and care. You will lead teams build strategic partnerships expand market reach and play a direct role in growing the businesss footprint and impact. Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and amp; Business Growth
- You will develop and implement business development strategies that grow revenue market share and brand awareness.
- You will conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover new growth opportunities.
- You will set clear goals KPIs and targets for the Business Development Team and HIFU Brand Managers.
- You will collaborate with external agencies to design campaigns that support business development goals.
- You will work with management to set monthly quarterly and annual brand targets.
- You will build referral programs with partner hospitals gynaecologists and fertility specialists.
- You will organize and deliver at least one presentation at a church mosque or similar organization every month.
- You will organize and deliver at least one presentation to a relevant professional body or association with a minimum of 20 attendees every month.
- You will get FCC enrolled with at least one HMO every quarter.
- You will secure a minimum of 2 client testimonials monthly.
- You will execute at least 2 presentations outside Lagos State every quarter.
- You will assist in hiring field officers training field marketers and supervising them to ensure efficient effective work.
- You will drive improvements in the conversion rate from registration to treatment.
Team Leadership and amp; Management
- You will supervise mentor and evaluate the Business Development Team and HIFU Brand Managers.
- You will allocate territories assign targets and monitor team performance.
- You will lead regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- You will ensure effective reporting accountability and documentation of business development activities.
Client Acquisition and amp; Relationship Management
- You will identify and build new client relationships and partnerships across both fertility and HIFU service lines.
- You will maintain strong relationships with key accounts ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- You will support the team in client negotiations and closing high-value deals.
- You will track and report on client engagement feedback and growth opportunities.
Reporting and amp; Analytics
- You will prepare regular reports on business development performance including lead conversion sales revenue and market insights.
What Success looks like:
- Consistent growth in revenue and market share across both service lines.
- At least one community or organizational presentation delivered every month.
- At least one professional body presentation with 20 attendees delivered every month.
- At least one new HMO enrollment for FCC secured every quarter.
- A minimum of 2 client testimonials collected monthly.
- At least 2 out-of-Lagos presentations executed every quarter.
- A steadily improving conversion rate from registration to treatment.
- A well-trained accountable and high-performing field and brand management team.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A first degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development sales or brand management ideally within healthcare or a service-driven industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong track record in client acquisition partnership building and relationship management.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills comfortable presenting to varied audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel outside Lagos as required.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with KPIs and performance data.
Challenges you may face in this role:
