Overview
We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer / Full Stack Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of our server-side logic APIs and databases for web and mobile applications. This role is vital to ensuring the seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems optimizing performance and safeguarding system security.
About the Role
As a Back-End Developer you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design and implement robust server-side solutions. Youll play a critical role in building scalable applications troubleshooting issues and ensuring the stability of our platforms in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
API Development and Integration
Design develop and maintain APIs to seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end systems.
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth data flow and application functionality.
Database Management
Manage database schema design optimization and performance.
Ensure data integrity through regular maintenance and backups.
System Security
Implement robust encryption authentication and security protocols to protect back-end systems.
Code Quality and Maintenance
Write clean maintainable code adhering to server-side development best practices.
Optimize server performance to handle increased traffic and data loads.
Performance Optimization
Implement caching solutions to enhance application speed and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues minimizing downtime.
Third-Party Integration
Develop and manage integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways and analytics tools.
Innovation and Collaboration
Stay updated with server-side technologies and frameworks to improve performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Startup Responsibility
Adapt to evolving business requirements and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Who You Are
Requirements
2 years of commercial development experience.
Experience in API development and database management.
Proficiency in server-side language PHP / PHP frameworks such as (Laravel / Codeigniter) is a plus
Proficiency in MySQL database structure and development.
Experience with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
