Job Summary: Our client is seeking detail-oriented and computer-proficient individuals to support the successful migration of electronic files and data from an existing Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) server to a new on-premises application.
The ideal candidates will play a key role in downloading organizing and uploading files according to departmental requirements. This includes ensuring accurate file placement conducting basic data verification checks identifying missing or corrupted files and reporting migration-related issues to the appropriate supervisor.
This role requires strong attention to detail proficiency in computer systems and basic office applications and the ability to work accurately with large volumes of electronic files while following established data migration procedures.

- Download electronic files and data from the existing EDMS server ensuring proper organization by department.
- Upload migrated files and data into the new on-premises EDMS application.
- Ensure that all files are assigned to the appropriate department folder and designated location within the new system.
- Conduct basic verification checks to confirm that migrated data is complete accessible and properly uploaded.
- Identify and report missing corrupted duplicated or inaccessible files during the migration process.
- Maintain accurate records of migration activities and report progress to the designated supervisor.
- Follow established data migration procedures confidentiality requirements and document-handling with relevant teams to resolve migration-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office applications.
- Ability to work with large volumes of electronic files and folders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to follow instructions and established data migration procedures.
- Good organizational communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality of electronic documents.
- Previous experience in data entry document management or IT support is an advantage.
