Coverage Manager, Investment Banking (Regius Capital)
Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and manage relationships with key decision makers across the various investor groups such as Fund Managers Trustees Insurers Corporates etc.
- Develop relationships with local and international investors (private capital investors venture capital funds development finance institutions pension funds asset managers strategic investors etc.) to ensure success of various transaction types.
- Manage strong pipeline of institutional investors and HNIs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations proposals and transaction information to clients.
- Coordinate client meetings roadshows and follow-ups to ensure effective engagement.
- Provide market intelligence and client feedback to execution teams.
- Support the Managing Director to monitor project activities and transaction execution on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies regulatory guidelines and ethical sales practices.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years professional experience; experience in institutional sales relationship management or business development in financial services is preferred within asset management investment banking or capital markets is highly preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA ACCA ACS CFA CAIA would also be beneficial.
- Must be a SEC Sponsored Individual.
- Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients and prospects.
- Excellent relationship management and business development skills.
- Knowledgeable about Capital Markets the Economy and general financial markets as well as investment products such as Bonds Commercial paper Private notes and Equities.
- Strong presentation negotiation and excellent communication abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tool.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
Required Skills:
Core Competencies & Technical Skills Portfolio Architecture: Advanced understanding of asset allocation models modern portfolio theory (MPT) and portfolio construction techniques. Risk & Attribution: Sharp expertise in financial risk management tools risk metrics (VaR Sharpe ratio tracking error) and performance attribution frameworks. Market Intellect: Deep knowledge of local and global financial markets macroeconomic indicators and regulatory frameworks governing asset management. Soft Skills Analytical Thinking: Exceptional analytical quantitative and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Communication: Strong interpersonal and articulation skills with a proven ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to an Investment Committee or high-net-worth clients. Decisiveness: Ability to maintain clarity and make high-stakes investment decisions under pressure in volatile market conditions.
Required Education:
Educational BackgroundDegree: Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Actuarial Science or a highly quantitative Qualifications: Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or Financial Engineering/Finance will be a distinct advantage.
