Role Overview
The Coordinator will play a central role in managing and optimising the Ecosystem Marketplace. This individual will ensure smooth day-to-day platform operations coordinate ecosystem actors maintain data integrity and drive platform adoption and performance.
This is a cross-functional role requiring strong coordination operational oversight stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy highly organized detail-oriented and an excellent communicator who can effectively bridge business needs user experience and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Platform Operations & Ecosystem Coordination
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Ecosystem Marketplace ensuring platform functionality usability and data integrity.
Provide platform support to ecosystem partners and clients resolving issues and supporting adoption
Coordinate with developers and technical teams to translate business needs and user feedback into platform improvements.
Support testing rollout documentation and continuous improvement of platform features.
Monitor platform performance user experience and operational issues.
2. Ecosystem Development & Partner Management
Support the expansion of the ecosystem by identifying vetting onboarding and managing ecosystem partners across multiple African countries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem actors including funders investors service providers consultants and suppliers.
Identify ecosystem gaps and source relevant service providers to strengthen the network.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ecosystem partners and clients ensuring high-quality engagement and service delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams to drive ecosystem growth partner engagement and platform adoption.
3. Quality Assurance Data Reporting & Compliance
Ensure all ecosystem partners meet established vetting quality and compliance standards.
Monitor ecosystem activity to identify risks inconsistencies and service delivery issues.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of governance frameworks SOPs and operational standards.
Flag and escalate compliance breaches quality concerns and operational risks.
Maintain accurate records of ecosystem partners services transactions and engagement activities.
Track key ecosystem and platform performance metrics including partner activity client engagement service delivery and platform utilisation.
Generate regular reports dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
4. Communication Coordination & Execution
Translate stakeholder discussions and business requirements into clear action plans and follow-up activities.
Coordinate activities across internal teams ecosystem partners and external stakeholders.
Track deliverables and ensure timely execution of activities.
Gather user feedback and support improvements to ecosystem services and user experience.
Maintain high standards of communication documentation and execution.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Operations Technology or a related field.
24 years of experience in operations platform operations ecosystem coordination e-commerce management partnerships business operations or program management.
Experience working with multi-stakeholder environments (e.g. service providers vendors clients).
Experience coordinating B2B ecosystems service marketplaces or partner networks is highly desirable.
Strong digital literacy and proficiency with digital platforms CRM systems databases and collaboration tools.
Excellent presentation and communication skills including proficiency in Canva and Google Workspace.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and execution.
Experience working with digital product or software development teams is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage relationships and coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.
