The Content Community and amp; Partnerships Associate who will help us become visible where African professionals founders HR leaders creators and brands gather. Youll attend events uncover stories build relationships create meaningful content and identify opportunities that strengthen CareerBuddys voice and presence.   • You are naturally curious and know how to spot a great story in everyday conversations.

Your Responsibilities
Field Content and amp; Community Engagement
  • You will attend relevant career HR startup creator student and professional events on behalf of CareerBuddy.
  • You will capture engaging short-form videos behind-the-scenes moments interviews event recaps and community stories.
  • You will interview professionals founders recruiters HR leaders creators students and young professionals.
  • You will develop recurring event-led content formats that strengthen CareerBuddys media presence.
Partnership and amp; Relationship Building
  • You will build and maintain a database of founders HR leaders communities creators ecosystem partners and brand contacts.
  • You will identify collaboration opportunities and provide well-documented partnership recommendations to the Media and Sales teams.
  • You will represent CareerBuddy professionally while building meaningful relationships across the ecosystem.
Editorial and amp; Content Intelligence
  • You will prepare event debriefs within 24 hours highlighting key conversations contacts stories and content opportunities.
  • You will provide weekly audience insight reports covering conversations around careers AI hiring salary workplace culture leadership ambition and the future of work.
  • You will support webinars live conversations and community activations where required.

What Success looks like
  • Attend 36 relevant professional events every month.
  • Capture at least 20 high-quality usable content clips monthly.
  • Conduct 5 insightful interviews or vox pops each month.
  • Produce 68 publishable content assets monthly across CareerBuddys platforms.
  • Identify and document 810 warm partnership or collaboration opportunities monthly.
  • Complete 100% of event debriefs within 24 hours of attendance.
  • Consistently provide audience insights that shape CareerBuddys editorial direction and strengthen its position as Africas leading worklife media brand.

To be considered for this role you should have
  • Your application is successful only if you fill this form: years of experience in content creation media communications journalism community management partnerships or a related field.
  • Excellent storytelling interviewing and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of Africas career startup HR creator and professional ecosystem.
  • Experience capturing quality mobile content with basic editing skills.
  • Strong writing skills for event recaps captions partnership notes and interview summaries.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to document contacts opportunities and content effectively.
  • A willingness to travel locally to attend relevant industry events.
