Job Summary
- Develop and execute the churchs communications strategy and content calendar.
- Manage and coordinate social media communications across relevant platforms.
- Create and publish engaging copy for social media announcements campaigns emails and SMS.
- Lead communications for Sunday services Midweek services Kids Zone and special programmes/events.
- Plan and execute event and campaign communications including teasers countdowns reminders live coverage and post-event communication.
- Coordinate content coverage for church services events testimonies and key moments.
- Manage email and SMS communications to members and relevant audiences.
- Work with pastors ministry heads media creative and other teams to ensure timely and accurate communication.
- Ensure all communication aligns with the churchs brand tone values and messaging.
- Monitor social media engagement and communication performance and provide reports/insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement attendance visibility and overall communication effectiveness.
- Coordinate and manage communication requests from different departments ensuring proper prioritisation and timely execution.
- Bachelors degree in Mass Communication Journalism Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years experience in communications content strategy or social media management ideally within a church non-profit or fast-paced brand/media environment.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing multi-channel campaigns (social media email SMS).
- Proven ability to manage live event coverage and turnaround content under time pressure.

Required Skills:
Academic Qualification A first degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related discipline. Membership of a recognized accounting professional body (e.g. ICAN ACA ACCA CPA) or a relevant masters degree. Work Experience At least 10 years of practical experience in accounting finance and auditing within a major financial institution or a reputable large-scale organization with at least 5 years in an executive or departmental leadership capacity. Experience within a faith-based nonprofit or multi-site organization is an advantage. Personal Skills Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions. Strong organizational numeracy and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present financial matters clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Sage 50 Peachtree or equivalent platforms. Strong management interpersonal and leadership skills with the credibility to influence across the organization.
