Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness hygiene and infection control within a healthcare/medical facility.
The ideal candidate must understand the importance of sanitation in a clinical environment and ensure that all areas are kept clean safe and compliant with healthcare hygiene standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect all assigned areas including waiting rooms offices consultation rooms restrooms and corridors
Ensure proper sanitation of medical and non-medical surfaces in compliance with healthcare hygiene standards
Dispose of waste materials safely and in line with medical waste disposal procedures
Maintain cleanliness of floors windows furniture and equipment surfaces
Refill consumables such as soap tissue sanitizers and other hygiene supplies
Report any maintenance issues spills or hazards immediately to management
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Support infection control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment
Maintain cleanliness schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time
Assist in maintaining overall facility orderliness and presentation
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE)
At least 4 years of cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferably in a hospital clinic or corporate facility)
Basic understanding of hygiene and infection control practices is an advantage
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
Good interpersonal behavior and professionalism
