Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to manage daily financial transactions and monitor fuel dispensing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure every liter sold is accurately tracked maintain a balanced cash drawer and uphold strict security protocols to prevent fraud and theft. |
Job Duties:
- Monitor fuel dispensers to ensure liters sold accurately match customer payments; report any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer; perform reconciliations at the start and end of each shift.
- Follow strict cash-handling procedures to prevent fraud theft or errors.
- Record daily transactions for both fuel and water sales; submit clear accurate end-of-day reports.
- Provide basic customer service process payments (cash card fleet cards) answer inquiries and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to company policies safety protocols and security procedures including basic fuel station safety.
Requirements
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cashier or retail experience (fuel station experience is a plus).
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
- Strong attention to detail especially regarding numbers and inventory tracking.
