Associate, CardinalStone Umbrella Infrastructure Fund

Responsibilities

• Support the origination of new infrastructure opportunities and management of existing client relationships
• Evaluate and structure infrastructure projects with a strong focus on achieving commercial returns and
  development impact
• Review all information provided by the prospective investee companies demonstrating a thorough
  understanding of the companys business model and key transaction drivers
• Undertake the preparation of term sheets financial models and risk analysis & mitigation in structuring
  infrastructure transactions
• Prepare investment memos for presentation to the Investment Committee
• Lead and coordinate the due diligence process including legal technical financial E&S insurance and other due diligence work streams
• Support the negotiation of legal documentation with external legal advisers
• Support implementation of the Funds ESG management system
• Support all aspects of relationship management with investee companies and portfolio management of
  investments
• Provide operational support as needed to ensure smooth execution of transactions and fund activities
  Provide support on fundraising activities including preparation of investor presentations and responses to investor questions

• Minimum of four (4) to seven (7) years experience in infrastructure investing or advisory investment banking project finance advisory or credit analysis
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance/Business or a related field or MBA
• Relevant professional qualifications (CFA ICAN ACCA) are an advantage
• Demonstrated interest in infrastructure sectors (power gas telecoms transport & logistics etc)
• Excellent financial modelling and credit analysis skills
• Understanding of legal documentation and commercial structuring
• Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
• Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethicsm Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently manage time to deliver simultaneous projects to a high standard
