Job Summary
Role Title: - Supervisor/Foreperson Contracting
Location: Nelson
Contract Type: Full Time
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Foreperson to join our high performing Contracting team in Nelson. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team and can successfully deliver work within their scope including coordinating people plant and materials.
As a supervisor you may lead multiple operational crews and while also carrying out some hands-on work.

Key responsibilities
- Management of a safe working environment for all employees subcontractors and public on all your sites
- Co-ordination of resources to safely and efficiently complete planned work
- Supervise projects in a profitable and efficient manner ensuring eh highest quality standards
- Provide onsite leadership
- Effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders
- Encourage growth and development of team and crews
- Any other duties or projects that are reasonably requested
What youll bring to the table
- Current class 1 licence
- Current class 2 & W T R endorsements (would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided for the right person)
- First aid certificate
- Leadership experience in a construction environment would be an advantage.
