Submissions Manager

We are seeking an experienced Submissions Manager to join our Energy & Utilities Growth this pivotal role you will lead the development of compelling client-focused submissions for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) Requests for Tender (RFTs) and other bid-related opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.

Working closely with Bid Managers operational subject matter experts and key stakeholders you will drive the development of high-quality compliant submissions that clearly articulate Downers value proposition and support successful business growth outcomes.

• Leading the writing and production of compliant and compelling bid submissions presentations and new business content.
• Interviewing SMEs and conducting research to develop persuasive evidence-based responses.
• Developing win themes and ensuring they are consistently reflected throughout submissions.
• Managing tender queries client clarifications and submission documentation
• Coordinating review processes and ensuring content quality through bronze silver and gold review gates.
• Working with graphic designers to create visually engaging submission materials.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to best-practice bidding principles across the business.

You will be a highly skilled bid writing professional with a passion for creating winning submissions and building strong stakeholder relationships.

• A minimum of five years experience writing and producing complex high-value tenders and proposals ideally within the Water sector
• Strong knowledge of best-practice bidding principles and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical experts and business leaders.
• A proactive self-motivated approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
• APMP accreditation or similar qualifications will be highly regarded.
