We have an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team in Wellington.

This is a hands-on role where youll be right in the mix supporting project delivery working closely with site teams and helping keep everything on track from a technical and delivery perspective. Youll be involved across the full lifecycle of projects from planning and tendering through to completion.

If you enjoy solving problems working with people and seeing projects come to life on site this could be a great fit.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

• Support the development of project methodologies budgets and construction programmes

• Assist in managing contracts to ensure delivery meets clients expectations and specifications with a focus on Zero Harm Quality and Environmental compliance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives

• Identify and assist with contractual issues variations and compliance matters

• Provide coaching mentoring and on the job development opportunities

Nga pūkenga matua Important Skills

Youll will be someone who takes a collaborative approach and strives for excellence. Wed also value:

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent (BE or NZCE business management or equivalent)

• Proven experience as a Project or Site Engineer within the Construction industry

• Strong understanding of contract management and project delivery processes

• Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with clients and sub-contractors

• Understanding of financial and accounting processes

• Demonstrated ability to support a culture of safety quality and environmental excellence
