Site Engineer Structures

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Site Engineer Civil & Structural to join our team in Wellington Seaview supporting the delivery of civil and structural works for a major thermal drying plant project.

In this site-based role you will play a key part in ensuring the safe efficient and high-quality execution of works including foundations concrete structures underground services drainage pavements and structural steel installations. Youll work closely with project engineers subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure all works are delivered in line with specifications programme and Zero Harm principles.

What we are looking for

Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented engineer with strong site experience and a collaborative approach.

Key experience & skills include:

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in civil/structural site engineering within construction or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in:
  • Earthworks excavation and concrete structures
  • Reinforcement formwork and concrete pours
  • Structural steel installation
• Ability to interpret civil structural reinforcement and GA drawings
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing QA processes and HSE requirements
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site-based issues

Desirable experience:

• Industrial water/wastewater or process environments
• Heavy foundations or equipment bases
• Brownfield or live operational sites
• Exposure to NZ standards and regulations
