Short Order Cook Café Experience

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Short Order Cook with café experience to join our fantastic team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and enjoys creating fresh delicious food for our amazing residents.

About the role:
Youll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality café-style food working alongside a great team to deliver a warm and enjoyable dining experience. This is a hands-on role with plenty of interaction where your passion for food and people will really shine.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe 
  • Exceptional cooking and baking skills
  • Excellent food hygiene practices and a commitment to safe working practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management.
  • Empathy towards older adults good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Honesty reliability and integrity.
  • Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.
