Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Lead and be accountable for the health and safety of all employees contractors and visitors ensuring strict adherence to corporate and legislative requirements.
- Champion the continuous improvement of safety performance aligned with Brambles Zero Harm initiative while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- In collaboration with the maintenance team oversee equipment reliability across the site ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with all task-specific responsibilities outlined in CHEP procedures work instructions and safety protocols maintaining operational consistency.
- Drive the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement processes to optimize plant performance in areas such as safety quality and cost control.
- Maintain site security and ensure compliance with service center requirements including managing storage stock levels and movement of materials and equipment.
- Manage lead and develop plant staff fostering accountability and ensuring that all team members meet or exceed performance expectations as outlined in job descriptions and agreements.
- Ensure that customer expectations both internal and external are consistently met or exceeded through effective management of plant operations.

As the leader of our largest and most complex operational site in New Zealand youll play a key role in shaping culture developing talent driving continuous improvement and ensuring our people go home safe every day.
What Youll Be Doing
As Service Centre Manager youll:
Lead and inspire a diverse team to safely deliver outstanding quality operational performance
Develop and coach leaders and team members driving a continuous improvement mindset and helping people grow and achieve their full potential
Drive operational excellence across productivity quality customer focus and cost performance
Partner closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and operational continuity
Lead site planning resourcing and performance to deliver results
Ensure compliance with all safety environmental and legislative requirements.

Foster strong relationships with employees customers and key internal stakeholders
What Youll Bring
Were looking for a leader who can balance operational excellence with genuine people leadership.
Youll ideally have:
Experience leading large operational manufacturing logistics or supply chain teams
A strong commitment to safety leadership and creating psychologically safe workplaces
Proven experience building diverse engaged high performing teams
The ability to influence coach and develop people at all levels
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational change
Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and site performance
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A collaborative leadership style that brings people on the journey
