Service: Childrens Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people aged 818 with residential care needs
Qualifications Required: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (Residential Management pathway) or willingness to achieve
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent senior experience within a childrens residential setting with at least 1 year managing a team within a care environment
The Home:
Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their childrens residential homes in Staffordshire.
Their homes are designed to provide a safe nurturing and family-style environment where children and young people can develop positive relationships stability and improved outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for the day-to-day management safeguarding compliance and overall performance of the home.
You will work closely with senior leadership to embed a therapeutic ethos support staff development and ensure exceptional care delivery.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a confident resilient and experienced Registered Manager who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will have:
Strong leadership experience within Ofsted-regulated childrens residential care
A sound understanding of Childrens Homes Regulations Quality Standards and safeguarding
Experience managing staff performance recruitment supervision and development
Experience working with local authorities families schools health professionals and external agencies
Budget management and operational oversight experience
A collaborative leadership style with strong organisational skills
A full UK driving licence
Enhanced DBS clearance
Key responsibilities will include:
Overall leadership and management of the homes 24/7 operation
Maintaining regulatory compliance and safeguarding standards
Embedding a therapeutic model of care
Driving positive outcomes for children and young people
Managing staffing performance training and recruitment
Overseeing risk management health and safety and service quality
Managing budgets resources and operational planning
Supporting inspections service development and continuous improvement
