Youll join Frequencys high-performing Auckland infrastructure team leading the delivery of major infrastructure projects valued at $50 million and making a real difference to communities across New Zealand. This role is suited to someone who combines strong infrastructure experience with sound judgement clear communication and a practical client-focused approach. Theres also scope to support and mentor junior team members making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others grow and is interested in building toward future people leadership.
Whether your background is in civil mechanical electrical or broader infrastructure delivery youll bring the confidence to lead well build trusted relationships and keep growing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the successful delivery of infrastructure projects from inception through to completion ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and on budget.
Engage directly with clients to understand their objectives provide ongoing updates and build trusted relationships.
Apply your multidisciplinary expertise to oversee design procurement delivery and close-out phases ensuring best practice project governance.
Uphold Health & Safety standards promoting a culture of proactive risk management across all stages of project delivery.
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Contribute to internal and client-facing project reporting budgeting and forecasting.
About You:
8 years of project management experience including strong client-side delivery experience in infrastructure.
Proven experience leading infrastructure projects in complex or live environments.
A structured approach to delivery with strong planning commercial and risk management capability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients contractors consultants and internal teams.
Energy ambition and a genuine desire to keep growing.
The self-awareness to take feedback on board reflect and continuously improve.
Relevant qualifications in engineering construction project management or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
A collaborative solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership of outcomes.

Youll generally work between our Auckland office and client or project sites staying close to the work and the people who matter. Flexibility is supported where it makes sense.
