Your role extends beyond the lobbyyou will orchestrate seamless valet services oversee impeccable guest assistance and bring the charm of Sofitel to life with every interaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests answer questions and provide general facility directions.
• Collection delivery handling and storage of all guest luggage as per procedure and record on the log book.
• Demonstrate excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage with guests in a warm professional and confident manner.
• Deliver guests correspondence and packages to rooms or wherever designated and record on the log book.
• Prepare and serve welcome drinks as required
• Escort guests to their rooms explaining the facilities of the hotel en route.
• Assist with parking and collection of guest cars following procedures at all times.
• Help clear tables in the Bar and Club Lounge wherever/whenever required.
• Assist with setting up the Club Lounge and service and support Club service when required including clearing tables replenishing items and assisting guests as part of the overall guest experience.
• Monitor the lobby lobby bar and Club Lounge and promptly clear used glasses cups and other items left by guests maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays in line with operational requirements
• A desire to grow and progress within Sofitel

This role is Part Time (Minimum 32 hours per week) - Must hold full NZ working rights.

Qualifications :

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Full New Zealand Drivers License is required.
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent grooming standards.
• Strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
• Confident and articulate communication negotiation relationship and networking skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with drive ambition and high level of energy.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change.
• Role model in Accor values and Heartist culture.
