Operator Hazardous Waste

About the Role:

As an Operator you will play a crucial role in operating our equipment for the processing of medical and biosecurity waste in a safe and responsible manner. With full thorough training provided this will include a buddy system to ensure safety and confidence within the workplace.

Qualifications :

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and operating bin lifters and conveyors
• Operating the Rotoclave steam sterilising units
• Unloading the sterilising units
• Foam washing and lining of bins.
• Movement of wheeled bins around the plant (up to 200kg)
• Some lifting of containers up to 20kgs
• Palletising of export waste
• Some forklift work.

Skills/Requirements:

• A great can-do attitude and willingness to learn. (All training will be provided)
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills
