Great internal communications dont happen by accident. They rely on excellent coordination strong relationships attention to detail and people who love bringing order to moving parts. 

Were looking for an organised and proactive Internal Communications Coordinator to join the University of Aucklands Communications this role youll play a key part in supporting the delivery of internal communications that connect thousands of staff across the University. 

From coordinating newsletters and maintaining communication schedules to managing publishing workflows and supporting stakeholder requests youll help ensure internal communications are delivered efficiently accurately and on time.

Key areas of focus: 

  • Coordinating internal communications requests workflows and delivery schedules.  

  • Writing editing and production of internal newsletters email and intranet updates and communications campaigns.  

  • Managing content calendars to ensure a steady stream of stories that support our organisational objectives.  

  • Working closely with stakeholders across the University to support effective communication delivery. 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity. The full salary range for this role is$63600- $86100 

We have a structured salary framework with three zones for those developing into the role (developing) fully effective (target) and contributing beyond what is expected of the role (upper). Appointments are typically made within the target range of$68101 $79300per annumdepending on skills experience and internal equity. kōreromōu About you 

Whether your background is in communications administration coordination or digital content youll bring a service-focused approach and a passion for delivering great outcomes. 

Wereparticularly interested in people who bring: 

  • Experience supporting internal communications content publishing social media or similar activities within a large organisation.  

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.  

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.  

  • Confidence working with digital tools and platforms including Microsoft 365 content management systems intranet platforms or email communication tools and a willingness to learn new tools systems and processes. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.  

  • Curiosity and a proactive adaptable approach.
