We are proud to be supporting the Taranaki region with the maintenance of the IDC.

You will work collaboratively across teams and with NZTA to deliver a safe reliable and efficient state highway network that meets community needs and provides long-term value.


You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of renewals including:

  • Pavement renewals
  • Structures maintenance and upgrades
  • Surfacing programmes
  • Major drainage works
  • Associated infrastructure projects

A key aspect of the role is overseeing the Renewals Forward Works Programme ensuring it is effectively planned prioritised and delivered in alignment with contract expectations and long-term network outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Renewals Team fostering a high-performance collaborative culture
  • Drive successful delivery of the Renewals Forward Works Programme
  • Partner closely with the Maintenance Manager Quality Engineer and IDC Contract Manager
  • Champion and embed the Integrated Delivery Model (IDM) and associated ways of working
  • Ensure delivery meets contract performance and sustainability targets
  • Protect commercial outcomes by managing contractual matters professionally and effectively
  • Build strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders including NZTA
  • Support staff development and contribute to a positive organisational culture
  • Make sound ethical decisions that are in the best interest of the asset and wider network

You are a strategic and commercially astute leader with:

  • Proven experience in infrastructure renewals or asset management
  • Strong understanding of roading pavement or civil construction delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver complex programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive solutions-focused approach with a commitment to safety and quality
