Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Field Service Supervisor to lead our field team drive performance and deliver high quality outcomes across customer sites.

Our client has over two decades in the heavy industry sector from hydraulics and heavy diesel to machining fabrication field service and project delivery. You will be part of a team that values quality consistency and delivering results that build our reputation.

About the role
You will lead and coordinate theirHydraulic Field Service team ensuring work is delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance team management technical support and operational delivery while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead coach and develop Field Service Technicians tradespeople and apprentices
  • Set clear goals and drive a high performance safety focused culture
  • Conduct one on ones performance reviews and ongoing development planning
  • Support training and upskilling to build team capability

Operations

  • Plan coordinate and supervise daily field service activities
  • Provide technical support both on site and in house
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time on budget and to quality standards
  • Review job cards timesheets and reporting for accuracy
  • Identify improvement opportunities across systems processes and performance
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify additional work opportunities

Financial & Admin

  • Support budgeting forecasting and cost control
  • Monitor productivity and chargeability targets
  • Ensure timely job closure and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation

Customer Focus

  • Deliver consistent high quality service aligned to customer expectations
  • Manage scope changes and ensure clear communication with clients
  • Support your team to build strong professional customer relationships

About you

  • Strong hydraulic and field service experience
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Hands on practical approach with solid technical capability
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
