About the Role

As a Gastroenterologist you will be involved in a wide range ofgastroenterology services including endoscopy outpatient clinics andinpatient care. You will be working in a high-performing multidisciplinary teamwith access to state-of-the-art facilities. This fixed-term role provides thechance to step into a busy and diverse service where your clinical expertiseand collaborative spirit will be highly valued.

About the Team / Service / Location

Our Gastroenterology Department at Christchurch Hospital is awell-established and collegial team of specialists registrars nurses andallied health professionals. We deliver comprehensive care across the fullspectrum of gastroenterological conditions and are actively involved inteaching research and service development.

About you

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Gastroenterologistwho is:

• Vocationally registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology)
• Confident in both endoscopic and general gastroenterology practice
• An excellent communicator and team player
• Committed to providing equitable and high-quality care
