About the Role

Reporting to the Fleet Manager and working alongside another Fleet Coordinator youll take ownership of a diverse fleet of approximately 300 vehicles servicing the Palmerston North and Whanganui districts.

This is a largely independent role requiring strong administration skills attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vehicle bookings and allocations using the SmartTrack fleet management system
  • Respond to booking queries and fleet-related enquiries from users
  • Monitor vehicle compliance requirements including servicing WOFs registrations and maintenance schedules
  • Arrange vehicle servicing and transport vehicles to and from service providers as required
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders across the healthcare network
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and fleet optimisation activities

About You

Youll be someone who enjoys problem-solving can adapt quickly to changing priorities and remains calm and professional when managing competing demands.

To be successful youll have:

  • Strong administration and coordination experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Confidence learning and working across multiple systems and applications
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently while building strong stakeholder relationships
  • A solid understanding of compliance requirements and processes
  • A current full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to supporting essential healthcare services
