Field Manager

The Opportunity

Were on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Field Manager to lead our team of Field Technicians within our growing Energy and Utilities in the Telecommunications area of the business in Washdyke Canterbury.

The primary purpose of the Field Manager role is to provide strong leadership to a team of Field Technicians ensuring a motivated high-performing workforce that consistently meets our customer commitments. This includes overseeing technicians who operate across all telecommunications work streamsOutside Plant (OSP) Inside Plant (ISP) Mobile and Essential Services (ES).

• SupervisingtheactivitiesoftheFieldTechnicianstoachieveproductivitytargetsandprovide customers with quality service.
• Fostering a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence across all work streams
• EnsuringthatwemeetallKPIsandSLAtargetsinlinewithour business objectives
• Ensuringcompliancewithallcompanypolicystandardsandprocedures
• Fosteringthe developmentof team membersto enhance skillswithintheteam anddeveloppotential future leaders of the business.

What we are looking for

• Level 4 NZQA qualification preferred with demonstrable Telco experience or potential to lead a technical field team in a service-based industry
• Supervisory Certificate or higher preferred able to consistently demonstrate core management competencies

• Formal training in Health and Safety Management
