F Endorsed Forklift Operator

Our client is seeking a self-motivated Forklift Operator with current F Endorsement to join their busy production team based in Tuakau

Rate: $28ph

Role Overview

• The role encompasses both hoist and production duties
• Staff will rotate between hoist operation and production tasks
• Production tasks may involve manual handling of products
• The product handled on-site is chicken
• The site manages both live product and processed product for distribution to other AKL sites

Work Schedule

• The usual shift start time is 6:30 am
• Typical finish time is 2:30 pmor 3:00 pm
• Monday to Friday

The successful applicant will

• Have a valid F Endorsement
• Be physically fit and happy to perform a mix of forklift driving and manual tasks
• Be comfortable handling meat and working in this type of environment- there is a noticeable smell initially; most staff find that this becomes more manageable over time
• Have reliable transport to get to site by 6:30am
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test & return satisfactory Ministry of Justice & ACC checks
