Event Medic

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

You will have an important responsibility to continually assess and mitigate health-related event risk at pre-planned events as well as provide event medical cover.

• Provide effective patient care ensuring patients are appropriately assessed and managed in line with the relevant Authority to Practice and Comprehensive Clinical Guidelines
• Proactively identify risks/hazards whilst attending an event and either acting on findings or escalating as appropriate to event organisers
• Develop and maintain an effective relationship with event organisers officials and participants

Please note: This role covers Auckland and Northland some travel may be required

Qualifications :

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A current New Zealand Authority to Practice minimum of EMT ATP required.
• Hold a current and clean NZ drivers licence
• Physically fit and able to ensure excellent self-care
• Ability to work weekends
