This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team where youll play a key role in developing innovative embedded products from concept through to production with a strong focus on hardware/software integration system testing and validation.
About the Role:
Working alongside experienced Hardware Embedded Software Mechanical and Production Engineers youll be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle. Youll contribute to system architecture support product integration develop robust test solutions and ensure every design performs exactly as intended.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to embedded system architecture and design requirements
- Support hardware and software integration activities
- Review and validate ARM-based embedded systems
- Assist with RF-enabled product integration
- Support PCB bring-up debugging and prototype testing
- Develop test harnesses and verification solutions
- Conduct system integration validation and fault-finding
- Work closely with manufacturing to transition products into production
- Produce high-quality technical documentation
- Ensure products comply with relevant military industrial and commercial standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practice
About You:
Youll bring a genuine passion for embedded hardware development together with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ideally youll have:
- 3-7 years experience developing embedded electronic products
- Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers or microprocessors
- Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software integration
- Experience with hardware bring-up debugging and validation testing
- Knowledge of low-power and battery-powered designs
- Experience working with RF or wireless technologies (LoRa advantageous)
- Confidence using oscilloscopes logic analysers spectrum analysers and other laboratory equipment
- Experience with product integration and system-level testing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with firmware and software engineers
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
