Job Summary

About the Role 

As a Duty Technician you will support the Engineering team with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the hotels guest rooms and facilities. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting with general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotels 

  • Painting and touch-up work in guest rooms and public areas 

  • Basic carpentry plumbing and general handyman tasks 

  • Assisting with preventative maintenance programmes 

  • Responding to maintenance requests from hotel departments 

  • Helping maintain resort grounds facilities and equipment 

  • Supporting the team with room maintenance and refurbishment projects 

  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean safe and organised 

  • Providing friendly and professional service to guests and colleagues when completing maintenance work 

  • Assisting with other Engineering duties as required 


Qualifications :

About You 

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Practical reliable and hardworking 

  • Comfortable using basic tools and equipment 

  • Confident completing general maintenance and painting tasks 

  • Able to work independently but also as part of a team 

  • A good problem solver with a positive attitude 

  • Organised and able to prioritise work 

  • Comfortable working around guests and in a busy hotel environment 

  • Physically capable of undertaking the requirements of the role 

  • Available to work across a 7-day operation  including weekends and public holidays as required

  • Previous hotel building maintenance or trades experience would be an advantage but we are willing to train the right person.
