Were looking for a motivated Sweeper Operator to join our Wellington Cleaning Team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operating vehicles takes pride in maintaining clean and safe streets and values being part of a hardworking team that delivers an essential service to the local community.

In this role youll be primarily operating a road sweeper and other Class 2 vehicles carrying out street cleaning and maintenance activities across the Wellington region. Youll be responsible for keeping roads kerb lines and public spaces clean and presentable while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Youll also assist with other operational tasks as required complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks and work alongside a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for our customers.

To be successful in this role youll bring:

• Full NZ Class 2 Licence essential (Class 4 advantageous)
• Road sweeping experience highly regarded but not essential
• Strong commitment to health safety and quality
• Good understanding of vehicle inspections and pre-start checks
• Physically fit and willing to assist with operational tasks when required
• Reliable hardworking and self-motivated
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Flexibility to work additional hours when operational needs require it
