Job Summary

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global fintech organization specializing in cross-border payments technology. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning infrastructure and operational challenges end-to-end from cloud architecture and CI/CD pipelines to production reliability and incident response. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable resilient platforms while driving the adoption of modern DevOps and AI-assisted engineering practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and improve CI/CD pipeline reliability developer experience release management and deployment automation across multiple engineering teams.
  • Design build and operate secure scalable multi-region cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to implement modern developer platforms and AI-accelerated SDLC tooling.
  • Manage production observability monitoring alerting and incident response processes for shared infrastructure.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and drive continuous improvements in reliability and operational excellence.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code solutions and cloud automation practices.
  • Support disaster recovery networking identity management and infrastructure security initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable secure and resilient platform operations.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience building and operating production infrastructure environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including multi-region deployments IAM networking and managed services.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Proven experience owning CI/CD pipelines release automation deployment strategies and release gating processes.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies in production environments.
  • Strong experience with observability monitoring alerting systems and service reliability engineering practices.
  • Experience managing production incidents and participating in on-call rotations.
  • Daily usage of AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot Cursor Claude Code or equivalent platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience within payments foreign exchange fintech or regulated industries.
  • Experience with cloud-native identity and authentication platforms.
  • Knowledge of security governance and compliance frameworks in regulated environments.
  • Experience with enterprise database resilience solutions such as Oracle or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience working within globally distributed teams and supporting 24/7 operational environments.
